Moving to Korea means meeting a lot of new numbers: payslips with four kinds of insurance, deposits worth more than a car, a new way of counting your age and prices said in units of ten thousand. KoreaSum turns them into plain answers.

How we keep it accurate
Our calculators follow current Korean law and official rates — the National Pension and National Health Insurance rates, the National Tax Service withholding table, the Labor Standards Act, the Housing Lease Protection Act and the official holiday calendar. Each page notes the date of the rates it uses. When the rules change, we update the tools.
KoreaSum is not a law firm, tax office or immigration service. For decisions about visas, taxes or contracts, please confirm with the official agency or a professional.
Who we are
KoreaSum is run by a small independent team in Korea that also makes Korean-language tools: 시셈, 날셈, 알셈, 차셈, 골라셈. The site is supported by advertising, placed so it does not get in the way of the tools.
